SafetyGraft Autologous Skin Preservation

California Transplant Services, Inc. provides the service of autologous skin tissue preservation for burn, trauma and surgical patients.  Surgical patients may have a portion of the skin recovered for wound dressing and excess tissue is stored for re-implant at a later date.  We provide controlled storage between 1-10C in monitored blood bank refrigerators in a licensed tissue bank laboratory.

Key Benefits

  • No risk of tissue rejection, since it is autologous tissue.
  • Third party storage facility is responsible for the management of storage and delivery to surgical facility at the time of implant regardless of the implant location, worldwide.
  • Storage and preservation kits are provided to the procuring hospital at no charge.
